The forecast was for the wind to gradually increase throughout the day today, but when I got up it seemed to be windier than expected and I thought that maybe the wind had come in earlier than forecast...

I went to work anyway, and passed a small, but surfable wave at the lifeboat station on the way. I then worked until 2pm when I took the rest of the afternoon off to go windsurfing. But, the wind dropped to about 14 knots just as I did, after blowing at around 20 knots all morning!!!. The surf seems to have gone as well.

Oh well, you can't win em all, and it was probably a good thing as there was some sort of fishing competition going on on the beach so there was about 3 million fishermen lining the shore. I don't think they would have been too impressed with me flying up and down along the beach in front of them!!!

Looks like I'll have to do the washing up and fill in my tax return form instead... And then go rowing.... unless of course it pciks up!!

Nice one BEFS... I didn't even go rowing in the end. I did walk across to the beach and the surf has picked up, but it was time to cook tea by then.

Besides, its about time I gave you all a chance in the Hall of Fame!!

Looks as though there could be some wind here on Thursday afternoon, but I shall be working.
