Wind Guru are forecasting 30 mph Southerly winds for Sunday... Everyone else seems to be suggesting Force 3 E-SE... I know which one I'll have please!!.

they are forecasting the same for here in cornwall, unlike everyone else that is suggesting 8 - 10mph winds, lets how windguru are right, they are normally pretty good.

Keeping my fingers crossed... Although SE are usually crap here.

This morning weather online are forecasting SE Force 5-6 for Sun too and then S Force 6-7 for Monday.... Things are looking up, the only numbers we've seen that high for a while have had mph after them!!

The isobar charts are beginning to look more promising too, and the Low pressure is coming from a fairly southerly position in the Bay of Biscay, so we may be in for some surf as well.

SE isn't great here, but I'll take whatever I can get, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday

Its been downgraded to about 15 knots here already!

We'll see.. We might get some surf though and hopefully the wind is saving itself for the Easter weekend.

al does the wind accelerate though the estuary on a s east ?

touin would be good (and i know the spelling is wrong its that welsh thing)

just looked its forcasting 10 to 15 building though the day.

The estuary isn't usually that good in a SE..although, sometimes it can be OK down by the Leri.

Tywyn could indeed be good.... We'll have to see what it is ACTUALLY doing on Sunday.

Well, Sunday is here and it looks as though WindGuru were right all along.

Its blowing at around 20 knots Easterly at the moment.... Time for some breakfast and then to get out on the water I guess.

Looks even better down your way too Paul...And marazion is OK in SE's isn't it??

SE isn't the best at Marazion as the mount casts a huge wind shadow into the sailing area, but I got out at longrock today and had a lot of fun.

It would seem Windguru have proved themselves this weekend, fingers crossed for a good easter....
