Biggest Wave ever ridden in UK
NatB - 1-8-2002 at 10:17

I think I have found a contender for the biggest wave ever ridden in the UK.

This is Piers Gould in Jersey at a break called Petit Port. It could be the biggest wave ridden in UK.

Do you have any photographic proof of anything bigger.

Hi Sarah

Ace Cool a fantastically pathetic film. Have you ever seen it. Its well worth watching just for the laugh factor.

It was based in the 80's. I remember it well. He was the Big Wave Guru and was planning on surfing the biggest wave ever ridden. The film charts his progress and his training reigime ending on him riding a monster (while pales in comparison to waves Laird has ridden). The director of the film decided to script some Ace's line and Aces Delivery of these is farcical.

Good film to watch with a bottle of wine and some mates. You will pee your self.

If you want to see a film about big waves. Watch Biggest Wednesday. Its scarey waves of 60ft plus being ridden!!
