Unfortunately it looks as though you'll be staying at home.

No wind or or surf I'm afraid!

If you are really desperate to get away from the DIY then there is a really clean 1ft swell rolling into the beach this morning... Just about surfable with a big board, but the air temp is only 1¬?C at the momne tand with a 10 knot Easterly wind it is bitter out there!

Good for you.... I'd normally have joined you as the cold doesn't deter me too much, but I seem to have been ill for the past month and just couldn't face it.... Off to the doctors tomorrow I think to see if they can fix me!!

i reckon i could manage that if you twist my arm hard enough!! although westerly may be a bit dodgy for me on the sea front, depending on the waves. if they are only small i may give it a blast, if not i'll be in the estuary.

fancy a bit of practice on those duck gybes (?) in the estuary that you were on about?!?

justal - 21-11-2005 at 19:49

Maybe.... It looks as though it should be quite NW so the waves might not be too big.... Maybe a bit much for you to have a decent session though. I'll see how I feel, if I'm still feeling pretty ill then an easy session on the estuary may well be just what I need.... As long as it isn't too gusty in there!

High tide is around 1.40pm as well so it should be ideal for a midday session.... I have a client to see at 11.30am though so it depends what time I finish with that as to what time I'll get out.

ok cool i'll prob get down about midday anyway, i'll check out the seafront first and text u if i'm gonna stop there or go to the estuary.

see u thursday!!

justal - 24-11-2005 at 09:42

Don't think I'll make it Rob... I'm still feeling pretty weak and feeble at the moment... I would go for it, but don't think I'd have the energy to fight Anna off once she tries to kill me for going out whilst ill!!

Pop around for a cuppa after you've been out if you like though (I don't think I'm contagious!)

I am watching by the way and I will know if you've been out in the water! Just remember that if you do that will be the end of any sympathy and you will also have my mum to answer to!

rob - 24-11-2005 at 12:13

justal - 24-11-2005 at 12:31

I'll be out between 2.45 and 3.30 collecting Morgan, but will be around otherwise...

Don't think I have the energy to windsurf I'm afraid, but at least you have reminded me to take my tablet!!
