Surf on the way....

I've just been checking the charts and the weather news, and things are looking good:

quote:
Dolly UK bound

Dolly, the tropical storm out in the Atlantic has now turned round and is UK bound!

Early indications are that Dolly should wait out in the Atlantic until Monday (today) at which point she will join a temperate depression and head for the UK bringing strong winds and heavy rain to many places towards the end of the week.

So???...Well, while she has been sitting there in the Atlantic she has been generating swell and should now start pushing it towards the UK. This coupled with the forecast SE winds mean that there is a pretty good chance of us getting some decent surf. It should start building on Wednesday evening, and be good on Thursday and Friday, before dropping off over the weekend.

Fingers Crossed.
