Well still considering my options. Have a rather tempting party saturday night where great beer is served. So you can understand my position!

Have a good one if I don't manage to share it with you all.

Well I don't know how the wind faired for you guys at the weekend, but it was blowing 60 kmh at Pas de la Casa, wind chill was around the -25 degree mark and I can tell you it was COLD !!!
Cold and a bit daunting 2500m up on a area of ice about 20m square.
Ended up walking backwards down a 45degree slope about 100m before I could even get my board back on.
Absolute carnage at the top of the lift with women screaming and the lift jockies blowing whistles trying to get everyone down off the mountain.

Still, a great week otherwise. Catch you on the water in the next wkend or two.

Hey Mark! They must be a lot of softies in that part of the world - just got back from Tignes and with the windchill it was -25 on the tops, and there was a French guy boarding in his underpants!!

Tho only for a couple of hundred metres, his mates were following with his clothes. and I did see the helicopter up that peak a couple of times later in the day, so maybe his gallic derring-do came to a sad end??

Great week tho, snow started off good and ended up excellent, 2 feet of powder for the last 2 days, even a bit of sun.

Prices were so silly though that it wasn't funny, £6 a pint, £3.50 for coffee, £12 for a small pizza,

And buy of the week - a large toblerone for...... £14.50
