Has anyone kited at Aytre beach in La Rochelle - gonna be racing boats there in august and staying 5 mins from Aytre.

Wondered if there are restrictions/designated areas etc

hi Rich not sure if Andy B has kited around there.i'm sure he stayed in an aires in angoulans and kited somewhere around there.

sorry to hear you still do not have it back; appears to be par for the course from what i've heard!

commisserations on the van episode Rich, seems an all too common story .

mine was back to the dealers within a week of buying and back 3 times subsequently in the following 4 weeks.

mind you, have no complaints now and although its aggravating at the time I am sure it will be worth the wait.

are you in La Rochelle in early August as we will also be over with the Massif tour-de-france 2009 around that time.

Defo taking the van and probably staying in the municipal camp site near the marina in Les Minimes.

Not sure my final plans yet. I need to b in La Rochelle on 15th Aug and then I sail thru til 28th Aug. I'll most likely go out 10th/11th and trundle down over a couple of days - will try and fit in as best I can with u guys if I can.

Trying to sort a mobile internet connection in France so I can work whilst I'm out there - then I can hopefully come earlier - fingers crossed !!
