Who's out weekend 5th & 6th April
jon d hat - 1-4-2008 at 20:07

Just looking at what the weekend has to offer. If thing's stay the same I recon L********* will be working well. Low tide is about 1.45 saturday and the wind direction is NNW. If my memory serves me well, that's about the right formula for a cracking wave session.

What d massif up to?? well the info I have received is that they are mainly occupied....Kitefish in Turkey...Loxley and Bluebeard in the Alps... Col nursing a ligament (Gutted for yer man) and Spooks with tendinitis (If thats the correct term!!) So anyone else gonna be sailin?? could be epic..although looking at Sunday, I may pack my snowboard!

John do you mean the LL reef just down the road, or the ll, right down the coast?

shem - 2-4-2008 at 07:30

Just realised its nw for the weekend, it needs a southerly for the wave to work bud, the beach would work ok mind, but it wont be grinding lefts, boo hoo

Yep, about 5-600 yds down from the caravan site should be Ideal for kitesurfing. A few of us were there the other weak and had a crackin sail in a NNWesterly. Think that the reef break that your thinking about will be slightly cross off for the wave to be working for the surfers. I'm not into Kitesurfing in any kind of off shore winds. Just know how gusty it can de at borth in that wind direction.

carlessd - 2-4-2008 at 17:00

Fart Boy - 2-4-2008 at 17:38

I'm well up for graveyards if its working.

What's the chances Shemster????

shem - 3-4-2008 at 17:38

A dead cert I recon, withhight ide early, therell be a great wave at high tide, then a sucky smaller one on the drop.

Encee - 3-4-2008 at 18:23

Haven't been out for weeks & never been as far up as the Cemetry area. Think I'll give it a try too.

shem - 3-4-2008 at 18:30

Its a plan then, sounds good. With it being forcast NNW could be a bit windier than forcast up there as well!

REECEY - 3-4-2008 at 21:51

Will anybody be flying at the Cemetry on Sunday. I've been there a few times only to be the only one there and as i don't like to fly on my own i ended up driving around to join the lads at Borth.

Encee - 4-4-2008 at 17:01

Just had the best day ever at llangenith, where was every body

shem - 6-4-2008 at 19:55

I had a epic session over at south beach at aberystwyth. Really clean 25-30 knot cross shore. Fun flatish water once you get past the shore break as it gets real deep real quick. Gotta be carefull launching and landing, lots of reefs, walls and buildings, fine though, would be epic with a big swell.

crezzee - 7-4-2008 at 09:10

Hey shady, is llangenith the new BRS then, is it on the Gower?
I'm grounded at the moment, waiting for her indoors to have the nipper - should be any day now. Hopefully back in the drink about June if all goes well.
cheers crezz
