Anyone NOT going to be loved up on saturday? Wind looking pants again and the snow will mostly be gone by then too.
Thinking of a lil mt bike foray, probably Coed y Brenin.
Col - hey! big boy! you're a hardened biker now - slip into that lycra and lets see the size of your....
legs?
you could at least buy me a drink first before that proposaL..
WORKING ALL WEEKEND ..doh
I'll be loving it up going down the slopes, brandy in hand and snowboard underfoot!
mmmmm - just been offered a weeks boarding in France for a week from 28th, catered chalet, lift pass etc etc all in for £475.
Montgenevre, and there's 320cm snow at present with fresh powder
but I'm supposed to be going to a wedding that day
decisions , decisions
I Could be up for a ride at Coed y Brenin Spooks.
Which day were you thinking of?
Al.
Hi Al,
planning on pitching up mid morning saturday, but can't be sure I'll be able to make it until tomorrow afternoon. I'll post on here
when I know - in case you're about.
Cool... I'll be about. We could always do a ride a little closer to Borth rather than drive up to Coed y Brenin.
Al.
hey sppoks that ski trip i'm off from the 26th to 09th march...MMMMMMMMMM
Hell Col - kiting, enduro, mt biking and now skiing - is there no end to the number of sports you're crap at??
trying to find out the details/availibility - I'll let you know how I get on
come on boys stop bickering!!!! come out at easter and i'll teach you all how to snowboard correctly
love to neil but easter prices and lack of leave..any how spooks will be cleaning my lycra by then
Spooks... I'm testing a Commencal this morning then meeting Steve at Pendam car park at 10.30am... Maybe see you there?
Al.
Al - couldn't make it today - what did you think of the commencal? was it the 5.5? They definitely look a bit more all-mountain oriented than the one I saw in France a couple of years ago, yet still light enough for xc
Yep it was the 5.5... It was good, and as merlin had such a good deal on them I couldn't resist buying one!! It corners really well and
felt pretty smooth. It isn't ridiculously lightweight, and is probably a little heavier than my hardtail, but it still climbed well.
Still prefer the look of the Lapierre Zesty, but at £750 less and slightly better spec I couldn't really say no to the
Commencal...
Hopefully I'll get time to play on it later this week.
Al.
Top man!
There's nothing like new toys to combat the recession blues
Im around for a couple of mid week rides this week Al, you should have it for Tuesday should you?
