big white vans - Team Pikey
V dubs for me
[Edited on 10-7-2006 by dunk]
sorry all, but Dunks van tops it for me!
Team Pikey
Quote “sorry all, but Dunks van tops it for me! “
Is this a statement from a member of the Team Pikey Massif?
I think not sir!
No Team Pikey Massif member would think to put one members most noble form of transport, The Van/self propelled fully integrated
accommodation vehicle, above another.
I take it that this posting has been placed by one not of the Noble Pikey Massif but someone belonging to the lesser and more common
mode of transport, that of the car, or to give it its full name; Cart/horseless carriage: the word car being an abbreviated derivative
of cart/horseless carriage. Owners of these lesser mode of transport can often been seen skulking around on the periphery of the Team
Pikey Massif corral (see evidence in previous posting), trying to gain credence and status through being associated with the said Team
Pikey Massif.
Although on the whole we don’t condone this action, it could be classed as part of the apprenticeship to be served by a cart
owner before graduating to the ownership of the noble Van/self propelled fully integrated accommodation vehicle and thus rising in
status and being accepted into the honourable and noble Team Pikey Massif.
Perhaps in order to stop any further incursions by the said owners of carts on this topic; “The Borth Massif Vans” they
could be encouraged to start their own topic, say maybe: “The Borth Massif Carts” or add more status to the topic by
embellishing a little and calling it: “The Borth Massif Apple Carts”.
With respect
Senior Pikey Blue Beard.
yea what ever he said
So Neil,
Is my van a car?
When is a van not a van?
Mine slept 3 on Saturday!
of course yours is a noble Van/self propelled accomodation vehicle Dunk, was referring to the lesser cart driving massif
probably best to keep your sleeping arrangements to yourself..........loose tongues and all that!
[Edited on 11/7/06 by mNeil]
yes Neil, i rather agree with your little soap box preformance. and i find its very comfortable in team pikey residence
Neil what r u on about
Here's the Boks pimped up Chrysler Grand Voyager (with self-contained sleeping unit!): -
Propper Puff Daddy Bok

Sorry to all the VW owners out there, but until the T5 arrived the Trafic just trounced the lot... and it looks more anarchic and
stylish methinks, yet faboo engine, quiet ride and comfy cab. Anyone who disagrees will be headbutted.
Andrew & Tiffany the Trafic (don't ask...)
although the transit nugget has served margi and i well. we are looking into the fastest van on the road. the T5!!!!! fingers crossed margi isn't put off but the £20000 price tag.
Neil - u're just jealous u're not as cool as the BOK!!!
Chrysler grand voyager is still a van to me, similar shape, height, sliding doors access, bed at back, but faster and more comfortable.
As for yours, its a massive white fuel guzzling wardrobe on wheels that seems to piss off the local residents!! Can't believe u fork
out 60 quid just to get to the beach each weekend
Dudes catch ya all at Ynyslas this weekend! Reckon the wind will be styling!
[Edited on 13-7-2006 by leonardo]
oh harsh harsh....now your being cruel to my poor little van which has kept us all warm throughout the winter . where does the 60
squid come from? you been checking up on my bar bill.?
thought the locals would have been glad of a bit of revenue coming their way !
thats done it then ....i'm off to france for 5 weeks.
got to agree the renault traffic is one stylish looking van but not sure about the white object following it.
u told me yourself!
Enjoy France Master Bluebeard...don't go upsetting any frenchies, they could end up head butting you in the solar plexus!
safer to hit me in de head , no sense no feeling
Hiya..
well this is my van.
seen plenty of beach action, but struggles up those hills in Snowdonia at times.
well it would be if i attached it !

Mark

Hey Fish,
You need to post the piccy of your new van in this forum.
Is it proving its worth yet ?
Mark
Yep it has been worth every penny so far, but it was cheap
Heres a new pikey pic from BRS Feb 2008.
Borth Massif Team Pikey on the dark side Feb 16th 08
that looks way too comfortable........
I like the split door !
Looks like you had good weather last weekend, but did I miss anything on the kiting front ?
The forecast seemed variable so ended up doing some tidy up jobs in the vans' garage.
Mr Fish-Bainger and myself had a great session on saturday afternoon, out till well late and lovely sunshine to boot!
[Edited on 19-2-2008 by nick-r]
55mm drop at the rear, 235/40/18 load rated tyres
Lookin real good me thinks!!
strange play on the eye but your van being lowered etc makes it appear like a LWB.
i just might put a pic of Fugly 2 on sometime soon for a REAL TREAT;
lowered 35mm back with 195/50/15 and 20mm front 175/55/15 and will soon be pulling 115bhp and still only £35 year road tax.

mmmmmmm.. the full 18 inches
(the signal is an optional extra)
some photos of the T5. its taken a while but its now finished.
Al, how do you attach the file to the message like spookers?
Just the way you've done it, but with the file saved with a lowercase .jpg rather than uppercase. (Don't ask me why, thats just the way
it works!)
BUT... putting the images in the photo galleries is better if possible as it keeps the database behind the site smaller than when you
upload them to the forums!
Al.
Oh Lord Chris of Borth - didn't you know that one???
very nice mr spooks, but it's still only 1.9 with no aircon or leccy windows
Very nice Guy's
I too can de ice the front screen now mines 3 inches lower.
looks rather good Spooks! dont mind Col he needs that bigger engine to transport all those pies!!!
True enough Neil, and who needs a/c with a van this cool??
Picked this up for £1300 off ebay.
[IMG]http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b219/happy-as-larry/P8090915.jpg[/IMG]
Hey Spooks,
Now you have joined the realms of the inside toilet and shower brigade, how about posting a few piccies of the new home ?
Neil tells me it's spot on, with a garage etc.
Mark
The previous owner Big Red - in the photo - said it was light and airy with lots of potential.....
ok - so I've forgotten how to attach pictures now...
Not sure what's gone wrong Spooks... It doesn't look as though its you though!
Try adding them to the photo galleries and I'll look into it.
Al.
For some reason attachments aren't working. No idea why though.
Try uploading them to the photo gallery first (or anywhere else online) and then inserting them using BB code or the little insert
image button.
That works:

Al.
Phew, after a morning of hard core coding I think I may have fixed it. Fingers Crossed.
