Further to recent discussions about hydrofoils, Wonder what would happen -, if anything - if you attached one of these, if you could, to the bottom of a bodyboard ?

I remember that discussion, some guy from hawaii or something tried it, made his own boards. For a start if you attached one of them, i reckon you would need a bigger sized board and a bit of speed, that board would actually propbably float above the water with the hydrofoil underwater, but actually riding a wave and doing tricks would be funny to watch..if it would even work. Imagine drop knee with a hydrofoil bodyboard.

yeah i think it was kyle maligro that attached fins to his boog for dropknee but he copped so much shit like 'that is not real dropknee using fins' that he doesnt use them anymore

Hehe. Do you mean hydrofoil fins or stand up surfboard style fins? What i can't stand is these people that buy bodyboards with 2 surfboard style fins on the bottom, or even worse buy them to put on it.
