Hi Everyone,

I'm "popping" down to Sennen Cove in a few weeks to hopefully catch the start of the winter swells (its bound to be flat )

Anyway, has anyone surfed down here or near here before? Any tips on the best places or what conditions make a particular place work would be really useful.

top spot, I've had the best waves round the corner at gwenvor, there is a right hander there that works around mid tide, usually, brilliant wave and picks up more swell than anywhere

cheers for that..... chances are they'll be no one around when I get there...so i'm trying to get as much info as I can before I go!

IS it worth taking a look at Porthleven if the swell is on? Or would the waves be just as good near gwenvor?

porthleven is a different kettle of fish, on the south coast so needs different swell direction to work, not as consistent as gwenvor, brilliant when it's on though, be very careful at certain low tides as it sucks dry!

Thanks for the Warning! I do have a habit of getting trashed on the beach from a great height... so i'll look out for that! I knocked my head far to many times to remember..(or maybe thats the reason I cannt remember!! ..... remember what?? .......etc)
