Nice one Wez. Do you know anywhere called 'Downend Point' near Croyde Bay? I was wondering where it was exactly seeing as your the new
info master of the south west.
Thanks.
croydes a 2-3 hour drive for me ,so if theres any surf i tend to stay in cornwall ,so i cant help you .try looking on a ordnance survey map , or try asking al as he was in the croyde area for sometime ...sorry
Yep... I know where Downend Point is!!!!
Surfed there loads actually, and its no secret spot..... Its just the wave that breaks over the rocks at the northern end of Croyde. It
has a pretty fast hollow take off that if you get wrong you'll be pulling barnacles out of your back for days. Some days you can rie it
all along the point to the beach, but the main feature is the fast hollow initial section.
Al.
Thanks Al, i tought i recognised the rocks. There the ones nearest to Baggy Point. I don't think i'm ready to take those waves on yet.
Not with all those rocks!
I think i'll just sit and watch!
