Had a good day today. First I went to the beach at 5.30am and went kitesurfing. It was my first atempt with my twin-tip board and my
first go at kitesurfing or ages. I got on OK, but still wasn't making any ground upwind.
The wind then picked up a bit so I went for a little windsurf session, nicely powered up with my 6.3m sail and going for those still
elusive carving 360's.
The wind then droppd again so I went back out with my kite, and this time for the first time ever started making ground upwind.
I then went home and had to go into town to choose flooring materials, buy some new shorts and shades anbd stuff my face with a Burgr
King Whopper!
Then it was back to the beach to playt in the surf ski. Anna had a quick go, as did Billy and then I set off for a 3 hour trip into the
Dovey Estuary and upstream towards Glan Dyfi, before turning round and having a strenuous trip back against the wind and against the
tide.
I should sleep well tonight.
Whats everyone else been up to so far this weekend?

Working all weekend still be worth when i git me van
I filled in my notebook with the diary entries for all the windsurf sessions we had.
I reckon I'll have to add the paddling in canoes, snorkling, getting drunk, eating pitta souvlaki, etc. as you seem to be getting
stoked on your ski thingy. If the weather holds you'll have to let me have a go at the weekend.
You're actually painting the house - WOW
I don't think getting drunk and eating count!!!
Let you have ago at the weekend???... I'm gonna MAKE you have a go!
I've only painted the fascia boards, but the soffits are ready to do now as well... I can't remember what stage it was at when you last
saw it, but....
The frame is up, the roof trusses are up, the roof is felt and battened, the fascia boards and soffits are up, the chimney is finished,
the floor is down, the ceilings are up, all the internal partitions are up, and the windows and doors are in!!!... Cool, it looks like
a house now!!!

I had another excellent, 'fun-packed' day here yesterday.
First there was enough wind in the estuary for kite-surfing in the morning, but I had to go into town to choose bathrooms!!! I was back
at the beach by 10am though and set off for an adventure up the Dovey Estuary to Glandyfi with Harvey and Rob.
6 hours later, including stops for lunch, to explore some of the coastline and for a quick pint in The Pen and we were back. By now the
wind had swung to NW and pciked up a little so next up was kite-surfing off the seafront at Ynyslas. Then it was back home and out for
a nice meal in the Welsh Black in Bow Street.
Not a bad day all in all!
Whats the weekend held in store for everyone else?
