mud, mud, mud, mud, mud.......too fcucked to write anything, arms hurt, head's pounding..180 bikes warming their engines on the start line......the most menacing sound i've ever heard..total madness mayhem..it's all wrong!!!!!!...off cambered climbs on clay and tree rooots in the wet that were taking people out like fly's...engine casing high deep ruts in the corners.......completed 2x1 hour races......did'nt manage to beat colin, he was obviously in a hurry, he did'nt bother waiting........very tricky ride, especially once you started to get tired..great experience. did i mention the mud.
i think we should have a neil type wager on the next race......shall we say 50p..........i'm not sure that you lapped me twice..............too much cheating going on to say who really won......besides, i was testing the bike out and was going considerably slower than i will next time out!!!!!....and no she was not taking a rubbing of my number as i past the control point you cheeky *!!%xxx......(expletive deleted).......15th march looks good........WOR michelin XC.in wales again...

well..we finally got the official results through the post...
stevebus fineshed 10th and i fineshed 16th out of approx 50 in the sportsman class.with 10 laps and 9 laps.....colin seems to have
been D.Q'd as none of his laps from the 2nd race were counted.giving him a total of 5 laps and finishing in approx 40th place......obviously as soon as i got the news i called with my commiserations...
..........round 3 is at robins mountain somewhere in north wales next
weekend...bring it on.....
spoke to the organiser and i actually won, but was put up into the next class..anywayi told him not to count the last race as i hate to
see Nick and Steve crying!!!!!

AGAIN
that was the hardest and most painful thing i have ever attempted
.shame you missed that one col. you would have loved it. deffinatly big stroker territory, although the honda did'nt have any isues
with the climbs, i can't help feeling that it would've been more fun on a ktm....thats probably the best terrain i've ever ridden
on...(well impressed). it's just so energy sapping, that without decent conditioning, it's difficult to enjoy at the time...even riding
slowly.(which i did'nt have much choice about) was hard work!.anyway....i came 6th from last....the snow actually saved me. i was'nt
carrying a drink, which turned out to be a big mistake...so i had to keep stopping to eat snow......eventually i found a place where
the fern trees were covered in about 2 inches.it was like heaven.....there i stopped, happily eating snow until the sweeper marshall
came past to close the course.....
Bet he tripped-up coming out of the pie shop Nick!
yes...he was piesurfing......
it's a shame he's hurt himself actually. it would've beeen nice to see someone else suffering last weekend.....hopefully i'll get
chance in a few weeks when he's in a bit better shape......
