Cool piccy!

We get dolphins in the bay outside our office window and Al etc go surfing with them but I've not heard of anyone windsurfing with them.

And don't tell me....the picture was taken with your new, all singing, all dancing digital camera!...You're making it difficult for me to reason with Al on this one

Nice picture Paul, we've seen them at Borth a few times when surfing as Anna said.

Also when I was at Moon Beach a group of about five used to come into the bay as the sun was setting, windsurfed next to them a few times and got really close as I kept falling in LOL

Also saw this massive Groper fish with big teeth eat another fish as I was waterstarting (yes after I'd fallen in)

I saw a small shark while windsurfing in lanzarote several years ago needless to say I DIDN'T fall off !

I was chatting to Harvey at Borth yesterday...he says he's seen both bottlenose and common dolphins in Cardigan Bay whilst out sailing (dinghy sailing) and has also seen a Risso Dolphin washed up on the beach at Borth...BUT, best of all was that he followed a 9ft leatherback turtle around the rocks at Borth for about 40 minutes a couple of years ago!!!

I didn't quite believe him at first, but he assured me he was telling the truth, and I've just been doing some research, and sure enough Leatherback Turtles do occasionally turn up around our coasts!

Cool.

Just thought I'd let you all know that I had a good view of the dolphins off castlepoint in Abersytwyth on Friday... They seemed a little frisky too as they were jumping clean out of the water.
