Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear..... Looks as though you are going for the 2004 'I need some sympathy' award Iain. If I were you I wouldn't read any of the diary entries from the last couple of days, just pretend it didn't happen!!

After my run of bad luck I've got my bigger board (Ace 276) and sail (7.1) in the car just in case

Still read the other diary entries just to remind me that it is windy somewhere in the UK though it seems to be that Mid/North Wales is the place to be this year. To think that I moved down to the west Country for the wind stats
