Got to go to a conferrence in Minehead in November, anyone know much about the best kitesurfing spots in the area. Conference is at Butlins should be good for laugh

Not sure what the restrictions etc are there, but minehead itself would probably be your best bet down there, unless you take a little trip up to Burnham-on-Sea, Berrow or WSM all of which will be better (as long as you coincide with hight tide).

Porlock & Lynmouth have been known to produce some class surfing waves, not sure about kite-ability though. Further North is good as said, but watch out for quick sands at low tide!

Lanuching and landing at Porlock or Lynmouth would be a little difficult and winds are gonna be pretty gusty at Lynmouth in most directions.... Both have produced some of my best days surfing though, but they need a massive swell for them to work well.... Porlock Weir is just lovely when its working though... Lynmouth gets a little too busy for my liking.
