Webhosts transferred site to a new server a couple of days ago and there appears to be a few issues... Just testing.
I think there might now be two versions of the site, one on each server and therefore two versions of the database behind the site. It
takes up to 72 hours for the DNS settings to propagate during which time some posts may have got lost as the could have been added to
the old database by mistake... I wish they had told me this before doing it!

Well, it seems to be working so maybe I was just being paranoid...
Not sure what happened to your posts then Rob!

I had to log in this morning, which I dont normally? Maybe there are to sites out there. Call mulder and scully!!
oh well, i'm sure you'll see the masterpiece on the beach over the weekend at some point! not sure how much wind i'll need with the
peel though :s maybe 15 kts will be enough who knows!
thanks anyway!
I knew some of you wouldn't ignore the post...
I'm still trying to sort it all out. It seems as though the site has been moved from one server to a new server as it was taking up too
many of the resources on the old server. Which means in the long run things should be better... My hosts said I didn't need to do
anything and that everything would change over automatically, but I still think I need to change my DNS settings, until which time
there could well be two sites out there!!!... Maybe we are all living a double life right now.

you should of guessed that anything saying please ignore or do not read or top secret etc would only incur excess viewing!
Maybe I shall start a new topic then entitled 'Do Not send me £5' !!
