Hi Everyone,

Al has asked me to post on his behalf and appologise for the lack of updates and posts.

BT are supposed to be putting a new line into our house but in the process have managed to cut nearly all of Ynyslas off! (Dave....don't worry, they are sorting it out hopefully!)

Hopefully Al will be back soon with plenty of updates and diary entries.

Does this mean Al has nothing to do but decorate? Hmmm no its force 5-6, I guess not...

Andy - My worst fear is that BT will have to dig the road up to fix the problem. Then we'll really find out what isolated means.

Nothing yet Dave. They even managed to break our brand new drains!

They will be out tomorrow to connect our phone so we'll get them to sort everything else out if they haven't by then.

And I thought putting in the phone line would be the easy part of building the house!

I have to deal with BT on a regular basis and nothing is ever easy!

My dealing with BT a few years ago was "get stuffed I don't want your phone line" well they said they wasn't obliged to supply a line fit for use with a modem.

Well, the phone line at Daves House seems to be working again, so I'm back online, and I have to stay in this morning as BT are hopefully coming around to sort out our phone line too....

Soon I'll be able to updte this site properly again, and will be out of the way at dave and Sarahs.... Everyone eeds to say a big thank-you to Dave and Sarah, as without their help this site wouldn't have kept running during the time its taken to build out house.

3 days offline and I now have 1400 e-mails to wade through!! Grrrr... Mainly junk of course.
