looking like your getting some serious challengers again this month Al, I'm getting some great sailing and adam's got his kite, your
going to have to try harder, fingers crossed it's going to we windy here in cornwall too
I'm just hopeing to get a score on the board. Im heading up to brog today forcast is 3-4 so fingers crossed maybe a little bit more. Should get atleast 2 stars anyway
Its good to see some diary entries from elsewhere in the world as well as just Borth too.
Especially as some members are on holiday so we're getting entries from Brazil and California. I'd never thought of Brazil as a
windsurf destination, but it sounds pretty good.... Whats the 'low-down' on the place Harry???
SV
I had noticed Paul that you're putting loads of diary entries in......trip to the shops....5 stars, quick paddle in the sea....5 stars,
got out of bed this morning....5 stars!
Only joking, it's good to see that Al isn't the only one getting out there and making the most of ALL weather condition!
hey they all count, well as long as it doesn't involve noisy smelly engines.....
wonder if I can score more stoke by skateboarding between my desk and the kettle........
Then you would be one up on Al...seeing as he's NEVER at work :p
humpf, I spoke too soon, looks like Al spanked us all and came out on top for July !
Theres always next month!!!
Especially as I need to earn some money over the next couple of months to
A) Pay for the house, cesspit, kitchen, bathroom and flooring, and
B) Buy lots of new toys (Bic Tabou 3s 64, Bic Tribal, new big kite, digital camera, harness, kitesurfing harness etc etc etc....)!!!
Still, I can't complain with the number of times I've been out this month, especially for July.
Al.
yeh I think you have had more wind than Dahab this month....
can't remember what deal you'ed found on the Bic's but I I noticed in windsurf magazine that Boardwise have a brand new 2002 Tribal
8'3" was £649 now £499 (and 2002 mad cows for £599 reduced from £849)
still saving for my new (2nd hand) wave board, but might be up in brum next week if there is no wind so may go and rumage in
boardwise's yard...
Hopefuly the wind is resting in Dahab for when I go there in November I only Managed a total of 4 sessions this month, has to be one of the lowest ever guess I have to go with Quality and not quanity this month.
I only managed the one and it was more of a beginers advise session really. Still ribs nearly repaierd now so I am looking forward to the autumn gales.....as long as I get the hang of the parenting bit as well
have you seen those backpack thingy's for babies, I'm sure that's fine if you don't fall off too much
babies like water, right ?
Hmm with my very slow water starting skills I may get a bit popular with theose social services people...may be better to gaffer tape it to the front of the board

ajdesq has just entered his diary entries for July from USA too, pushing him up to 4th place in the Hall of Fame.
Dave, 'Alex' and Gmac are on a windsurfing holiday in Greece at the mo too, so should have a few entries to add when they get back.
There were quite a few entries altogether for July, which is good to see... Lets hope August is just as good... My money is on Harry!
Al.
Told you... it looks as though Harry has had a good start to the month already... Whereas my weekend was like this:
Saturday... Working, masonry painting a roughcast rendered house. Then priming the fascia boards on our new house.
Sunday... Working, mowing lawns. The painting the gloss onto the fascia boards of our new house.
Is this hows its always going to be now that I'm a home-owner??
Al.
Yup....get used to it!
Its still close at the top, but Harry is geting the better of me as predicted!!
I'm just glad I bought that surf-ski or I would have had no chance. I need to do lots of work this week now though, so Harry should
start pulling out a lead.
Whats happened to you this month Paul??? Only one session? Surely not!.
Al.
Well its the 11th of the month and I still haven't had a session this month
I had a swim in the river when fishing on friday if that counts
or helping to put up a new ceiling in club house at Brog last weekend
But no windsurfing
I've got a surf and a bike ride to add to the diary, but nothing else of note
roll on the autumn gales !
Just got back from Greece, I've got a few entries to add to the diaries, but as the trip started in July and ended with me dislocating
a finger on Saturday, the entries will be spread over both months.
Can't fill them in yet as I am working, but I will bo it all by the weekend.
I would love to say that I dislocated the finger whilst on a poor landing from a forward loop, but I simply messed up a tack of all
things. Intially thought it was broken, but it is getting better by the day, so I hope to be back on the water soon.
Unfortunately the venue was not a high wind centre and we were using 7.5 and 8 meter sails to get planing on most days, but as we
managed it I reckon the was a reasonable stoke factor.
[Edited on 12-8-2003 by Dave]
Well, It seems as though I've managed to get in more sessions than predicted. The wind here has been really good lately, I've been
making the most of the still quite long days and I've finally started going out kite-surfing which has helped with the Stoke-Factor.
Autumns on its way too, so the little board and sails might get some use soon.
Al.
GGGRRRRR....
Got to get a session in soon
Well, looking through the diaries and the Hall of Fame, it looks as though August was a good month for some.
I ended up getting out more often than I expected, thanks to the purchase of my surf-ski and a few little adventures on that, and the
fact that I've finally got into kite-surfing...
There were wuite a few entires in total for Sugust as well. Harry has been having an epic time in Brazil, and its good to see a few new
names up there in the Hall of Fame... I'm just as stoked when others have had a good session on the water as I am when I've had one.
Lets hope the Autumn winds turn up soon and we all get out for some mad sessions in September.
Al.
Looks like BEFS is going to hold the honour of most stoked this month. His time in Dahab has paid off!!
