Anyone up for a sail on Monday - Looks as though it's going to be blowing a hoolie all day long. Easterly, so either a high tide session in the estuary or a low tide speed session off the seafront.

I haven't used my speed kit for years so that could be fun!

Was pretty mad out there with winds in the 40-50 knot range. Max gust recorded by the weather station while I was on the water was 53.2 knots.

I didn't stay out long though as it didn't feel that safe out there on my own with a deserted beach and crazy offshore winds!

I thought about the estuary but 6 degrees and 60mph gusts didn't appeal.

Did you get out? I was down in Bristol and then drive back on Sunday via the coast road - wishing I was out on the water all the way as it looked pretty good.

I was but have a foot injury at the mo so I'm hobbling around. Don't think windsurfing would be a good idea.
