Looks as though Ivor is doing his thing in the estuary at the moment.

The weather station is recording at over 30 knots so it must be 35-40 in the estuary!! Shame I'm at work otherwise it would be a good excuse for a speed session!

not planned properly and realized it too late...seen the weather station readings in the early afternoon and the wind was blasting!!

Crazy isn't it... I was in Aberystwyth each day and it was completely still there.

Indeed, it was still! The fact that the wind direction had a south component did not make me believe it could have actually happened yet there was a slight gradient in temperature between night and day, the sun etc. this usually favors Ivor..well well next time I ll need to be more alert!
