Not long now - Start praying for wind.
Who's gonna be there?
Al.
I may make the drive up from S. Wales if the wind looks good.
J.
Four or so of us coming up from Draycote
Coming over for the demo and to visit Alex at uni, with a bit of luck we might be in for some wind :-)
I'm hoping to be there Saturday if I;m feeling better. Can't make the Sunday though as I'm supposed to be competing in an Aquathlon and
if not competing then I'll be marshalling.
Wind looks fairly promising at the moment though.
Al.
Looks like a classic gusty southerly Aberdyfi day! At least there should be wind.
Still looking southerly and gusty - I can only make it on Saturday as well as it's the Aberystwyth Aquathlon on Sunday, but at least
there's wind.
What time are you planning on heading down Shem.?
Al.
I was gona wait till the afternoon, but I tink kids clubs arent on as its half term so I recn about 10 ish. You? Dunks heading over as well, so hopefully well have a local crew to battle the gusts
I was thinking of getting there around 10, maybe 11ish as well, I might wait until the wind has filled in a bit more though.
Al.
Wind pretty crap at the moment here.... The odd gust but otherwise rubbish. F1 qualifying forst then I'll see what its doing.
Al.
Seems to be picking up a bit now, and the sun is out...
Al.
Well, I took the long drive round to Aberdovey but it wasn't really worth it. Not unite enough wind, what there was was very gusty and
with such a big tide and the curent really strong it didn't look like much fun out there.
Plenty of people gave it a go though and some some stop start sailing. I didn't bother as it just wasn't worth it.. Sailing with big
kit isn't really my thing anyway and sailing underpowered with big kit is even worse.
Still, it was good to see a few friendly faces and have a bacon sandwich and hot chocoloate with Andy and Jules. Now sat at home in
front of the fire with a big cup of coffee... Could have stayed here the whole tme really.
