It's dark at the moment but the wind is currently 25-30 knots with the odd gust getting close to 40 knots. and SE.
A pretty unusual direction here for a proper blow, but if there are some waves ont the seafront as well then it could lead to one of
those very rare down-the-line wave sailing conditions.
The wind will be at its cleanest off the seafront at low tide which is around midday, just as the wind is forecast to start dropping.
Looks as though it'll be a case of getting out there this morning and making the most of it.
Lets hope Toby and Tom can make it as they probably won't get many chances of some proper DTL wave-sailing during their stay in
Aber.

Just been over to check and it looks awesome. 25-30 knots cross-offshore with some lovely clean peeling waves.
Rare conditions indeed.
Time to get out there.
Photo below doesn't do it justice!

I wouldn't bother now guys - the wind has gone completely - currently on 2 knots.
