I'm off for a mile swim in lake Bala in aid of Diabetes UK Cymru today.

Just checked the weather station there and the air temperature is 2.9¬?C - Sounds a little chilly to me!

Hopefully it will have warmed up a little by the time I get there and hopefully the monster of Lake Bala won't make an appearance today!

I am really sorry to note that I could not take part in the event. It is only now that I came to know about it. I have the feeling that proper publicity was not given by the organizers. I am studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff and I would have taken part in the event with some of my friends if I had prior knowledge of it. We are a bunch of guys who are always eager to take part in such humanitarian efforts.
