Hi All,
I'm heading over to Aberdovey or Ynyslas on Friday for a long overdue windsurfing session. Day off booked and forecast looks
reasonable... sunny and windy! Anyone else likely to be about?
Al ... looks like neap tides at the moment...

... do you reckon they'll be enough water to sail on the Ynyslas side at low tide around midday on friday?
Cheers,
Nick
Hi, with SW winds forcasdt itll be horrible n gusty ynys las side of the estuary, best head to dyfi side or just sail off the sea front. Ill be sailing at some point on Friday at dyfi
My last Friday off wasn't too hot - so I'm gonna have another go!
Will be sailing from main carpark in Aderdyfi from mid morning Friday until it gets dark or I sail off the end of the world....
Forcast has been consistantly good in recent days so fingers crossed
Spooks, hoping to go Friday eve after school given forecast for rest of weekend pants, however if it looks marginal might go to
blackrock as more wind forecast there.
The gods of wind shall dictate.
Thanks for the advice all.
Spooker - I'll probably join you in sailing from the main car park ... I should get there around 10:30.
Cheers
Nick

All the forcasts still showing 15 to 20+ knots SSW so Dyfi it is
Ill be there, may have to pop to Aber so will sail ynys las if I do, if not launch off the car park it is, be good to see some weekend faces during the week!!!
See you there Shem.... Looking Good at Ynyslas at the mo.
Al.
just waiting to hear if Im going to aber or not, will know in 20 mins.
Pants, totally missed it, got there just before 6 for a really late evening sesh, 11knts and rain, drove straight home! Think I passed Neil in welshpool about 645ish.
It was pretty grey all day Tim, and rained in bits and pieces from lunchtime. It was puffing up to 20 knots or so earleir but gradually died. Encee and I finally left about 5:15 so you didn't miss us but much either.
Oh well, looked great from here, was sunny off and on most of the day, some you win.......
got out for about 3 hours on my own as usual on saturday morning. some fantastic swell and with a cross shore wind great riding along
the waves!
what a different day sunday; lovely sunshine but alas little wind.
Well you all missed a brilliant wakeboarding session at Abersoch. Visibility in the fog and mist was only about 100 yards or so at one
point, but the water was deadly calm and smooth and made for an epic 4hr nonstop boarding session.
4hrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE WALLET

Well thank you for the safety lesson, but it was too good an opportunity to miss after a poor summer.
Other than a 40 footer anchored off St Tudwals we were the only ones out and as it was visibility was enough for an 18-20 knot cruise
in a straight line !
Any news of that Catamaran yet ?
restricted visibilty, that part of the code of conduct..
would probably mean all you lot who drink into the wee hours on a sat night flying again on a sunday fall into that catergory
