Well Jaymo was one of the lucky few who managed to get tickets to the gig and man they were out of this world.
A bunch of old guys on stage but still banging out the classics with ease and sounding better than ever.
Last time I saw Robert Plant I had scones with cream and a nice cuppa with him! Pretty epic singer as well fair play.
LAst time i sore him i was having a pint with him and his guitarist that worked on his solo albums in the local. Bit mad seeing him most weeks down the pub and no one batters an eye lid. Then he's singing infront of 20000 people.
like wise dan, didnt realise both our local boozers were frequented by classic rock stars! All the classic zep albums were written between Furnce a pennal. theres a couple of vids that were filmed in the estuary as well.
Well Robert was singing in the demo room under my office a few weeks ago test our products. Hence we provided the front of house mixing console for last nights gig. A great scoop
Led who??????
yep some of our staff asked that. Bloody youngsters!
My old Slingshot Turbo diesel used to fly like a Led Zeppelin most of the time!
Thats a fair comment towards the TD shady. lol.
Sound was spot on mark, sore fez and big mick there. Sound was poor for the support acts but i heard that only led zep used XL8 so
thats good news.
I already knew your local was frequented by rock legends shem cause im there fairly often.
"Fred" Zeppelin are playing Lickey working mens club this Friday night. Have seen them on several occasions.
An excellent tribute band at a fraction of the cost..........
Bron Y Aur is the house just outside Mach' where the real Zep did 'naughty things' , found inspiration and wrote some of there stuff.
Drove up to take a look one day and for anyone whose in the least bit interested.............

Yes that is correct only Zep used the big boy XL8. Went very well.
Thats right Bron Yr Aur is on the main mountain bike route over the dovey forest towards Pennal, nasty leg burner to get up to it. One of my favourite Mushroom picking spots as well, (strange)!
