Calling all South West surfers!

On Wed 11th July at 7pm, Exeter Phoenix in association with ANIMAL surf-wear are launching ‘Big Screen in the Park’; Exeter’s very own annual large screen open air summer cinema extravaganza in Northernhay Gardens. The launch, which surfers from all over Devon are invited to attend with their surfboards, promises to be the biggest off-shore surf gathering the city has ever seen!

Exeter Phoenix and ANIMAL surf-wear have also started a search for the South West’s youngest surfer who they would like to officially open ‘Big Screen in the Park’ at the launch event. Young surf enthusiasts who think they might be the youngest surfer in the region are invited to send a postcard with their contact details and date of birth to: Press Office, Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter EX4 3LS. The youngest applicant will win a brand new ANIMAL outfit and will be the star of the launch event on the 11th of July.
ANIMAL surf-wear will also be handing out discount flyers at the launch for all those who attend.

This year’s programme for ‘Big Screen in the Park’ is more varied than ever and includes recent as well as classic cinema highlights such as eighties cult-surf classic ‘Point Break’ (Fri 13th July) and latest James Bond offering ‘Casino Royale’ (Sat 14th July).
