Well, it was pretty quiet here over the bank holiday... Where was everybody?
Loads of wind in the estuary on Sunday.. Impi and I were there at 5.30am to catch the tide and Shem wasn't too far behind.
Monday was as good as it gets, a perfect sunny day that felt like summer with a decent NW wind, but still there were very few people
about. Just me and AndyW windsurfing and only about 6 kiters as well.
I had expected the place to be heaving seeing as it was a bank holiday.
Al.
would love to have been there Al, but with a late night and sore head on sunday , i did some jobs that i've been putting off for ages, so next weekend i'l be up for a play, sunday only mind you...jet ski's mmmmmmmm
Same this side Al, I was the only person parked at the point all day!
I had the cemetery beach and water to myself Monday and had a great time. Pluto did come in the afternoon teaching some chaps to buggy but that was about it. What great weather.
Saw you over there Mark we were just on the point, lisa's about up and going now...
Have put some pics from the broadwater sesion in kitesurfing section, I'll get the rest to you when we're next up Shem
Thought I saw your kite at the point. You were not out then.
The broad water was the week before Mark, dan got it with us, a absoulute classic sessssssion!
Good close up photos Lisa, any one would think that you where stood just inches away from us, hehe. Its got to be the best and safest place to sail in straight off shore wind, ey!
