Its just another money making scheme for the government. Don't think it will happen though as pretty much the whole population objects to it.
Just signed it
Everyone was against the flight tax and we now have to pay that, they didn't even put that through parliment
the dept of transport say charges will start at 2p per mile off peak in rural areas rising to £1.34 per mile at peak times ie if you travel 30 miles around the m25 to get home at peak times it will cost you £40.20!!!!!!! per morning & per night
at present, the technology isnt cheaply available for them to be able to implement this, but its not far off.
it would mean fitting tracking devices to every car on the road, but as more cars are made with these as standard for security purposes
then its only a simple software change for it to be used for 'alternate' purposes.
its definately a 'big bro' scenario, but unless the government is kept in check then these things can get passed as law all too easily
!
the petition shouldnt be ignored.

What a f****d up country we're turing into! We'll have to pay a 'breathing' tax soon - exceed your daily limit and you'll have to hold
your breath till your back in credit.
Holy s**t, hope Tony Blair doesn't visit this forum, might give him an idea the tight arse rip off merchant!!!!!!
