Coming to Aber for a bit in 1/2 term. [Around valentines day].
Need a cheap place to stay. Was thinking Borth Youth hostel. HOWEVER ... its too far to walk from Aber.
Any ideas of a good place to stay?

Youth Hostel is good.... and there is a train and a bus that will get you to and from Aber... (The walk is nice too, but it does take a while.)

There are plenty of places to stay in Aber, campsites, B&B's and hotels, whatever takes your fancy really, I can't vouch for any personally though. I guess it depends on your priorities... you want to be on the beach in Borth and get transport into Aber or stay in aber and have to get to the beach!

you can camp or hire vans from here just out of the centre near marina or fire station if i remember correctly.

I'd love to sleep in my car, but I don't think my friends will be to pleased with that ... silly toffs!
I'm off to check the weather now to see if it's worth bringing the board ...

It's ALWAYS worth bringing your board... If you don't bring it you can't use it whatever the weather throws at you.

At least if you have it you can use it.
