Well ive finally got back to the UK after my circumnavigation of the globe and its bloody cold!! Wish I stayed in Cape town longer for
the warmth but money always dictates what you can do.
Was Expecting horrible cold wet weather when I arrived back yesterday but it was lovely, cold and sunny. The flight into Manchester
airport was sweet with snow on all the high ground in the Peak district and you could see all the snow on the high ground of E. Wales
so was a stunning view.
And i hear you guys have got snow in W. Wales jus like you had 2 years ago when I was there at the exact same time of year. Awesome
fun!!
We certainly did get some decent snow here Jonny... Good to have you back!!
Al.
post more photos al, i'll put some up when i get home in bit!
Great photo Al. Im jealous! That was the exact image ive got in my head when I was snowboarding nr. Devils bridge 2 years ago almost to the day. That was one of my best weekends of uni - 2 days of uni cancelled (thurs, Fri) cos of snow so I had extra time for my cswk so I used the time wisely and played in the snow.
Will do Rob... I'm working on the best way to upload some of the little video clips at the mo.
Al.
here are a couple - i only have videos of the action shots unfortunately!! i'll put them on cd for you if i remember though.
no reef girls on the slopes unfortunately - although we were inundated with school girls at one point - i'm sure there were more than 5
people in those corsas you know!
i think for ten minutes or so we had a bit of style going al - then all hope of looking good went down the pan when my friends turned
up to tear up the slopes on body boards lol
and then the em and claire build a snowman - what is all that about?!?! very pleased with my 720 backside stiffy and switch landing
though, did anybody see that?!
Al keep us posted on the snow ,any chance of snow kiting there?
it is possible but watch out for the curlover on the hills if you are using a big kite neil
