It doesn't get much better than that... Lovely cross-off shore down-the-line frontside wave riding conditions with my little board and
5m sail on Saturday and then mad rough conditions on Sunday with the sun shining and a decent 25-30 knot SSW wind. Warm weather and
quite a few people out windsurfing too.... Even quite a few bikini girls on the beach making the most of the warm weather and
sunshine.
If this is the result of global warming maybe we should all get big gas-guzzling vans and just drive around aimlessly adding to the
greenhouse effect!
Al.
it does appear to be staying very warm considering its november! perhaps we are in for a shock if the weather forecasters are right in
predicting a bad winter? more snowboarding in the hills eh?!?
fancy a windsurf in the estuary this afternoon al?
I can't Rob... I am at home but I have Morgan and have to prepare for a business meeting tonight.
Al.
we got absolutely soaked through, you made a wise decision al!
Yeah top weekend Al, dunno why the guys headed north, Borth was rockin!
I can think of loads of places that do get better than that guys...come on! cape town for 5 weeks december into Jan...that is THE PLACE
for PROPER waves my friends...blackrock waves sucked assssssssss!
regards to da weekend, thought u weren't going to the beach DunkDUDE!!!! might of joined u at borth..blackrock was nice for a change
and there was a great bunch of people there..there was heaps of wind, but was real gusty and at one point blew all the top riders off
the water, even WillDUDE on his new Sonic! he was holding down the 11m in about 38knts at one point!! One can definitely see the
difference, cause Will's jumps were higher and he definitely seemed to stay up there for longer!
Al - hope u get some nice wind this week, and i reckon i'll be hitting borth friday night !!! See ya then dudes!
Leo, if you want surf get yar ass over here, theres been consistant head to head and a half surf for most of the last 2 weeks, its gonna HOMP again tommorow onwards as well. Ive had many a epic session on the points, so get over!!
Hey Leo,
Sorry, I got off work early, didn't have time to let you know! You'd of already been riding when I left work.
going north was a good choice. monday was se and we had great conditions. the waves at blackrock are only good a certain times of the
tide.
bring on the weekend.
I missed out on Monday here although it was probably the best day of the 3 in Borth with 25 knot SE winds and super clean 3 foot
surf.... Really fancied another frontside down-theline wave-riding day but had to work.
Al.
not for kites. its a long way to lreland.
Chris, come over dyfi side in a SE, its virtually straight on shore on the estuary and the lagoon, if the tides low enough you can get on the off shore surf in shallow enough water to make it safe.( Pretty much).

Hmm..not sure what happened to my post there, but I was saying to Leonardo that if you do go to South Africa that I am in touch with Gavin Spowart (Spowy) rated no. 2 in SA and owner of Cyclone in Durban. I'm sure he'd always be around if you wanted someone to hook up with. His website is www.cyclonekiteboarding.com . I used to work with him a million years ago in the Surf shop he managed in Durban. If I'm rambling on about someone you've never heard of, then I shall ramble no more!
Just a thought..
