It looked as though it was going to be cold this weekend and I intend to spend the whole day on the beach so I wasn't looking forward to shivering in my short-arm summer suit that I have been wearing up until now.

Unfortunately my winter suit was off for repair so there was no option but to go and get another one!!! Ended up getting a top of the range C-Skins wired which looks the part. Liquid seams all over (that was a failing of last years as the join between double lined and single lined neoprene couldn't have a liquid seam so it came apart after a while)... This year it is all double lined but with a rubberised outer to the chest and back panel (kind of along the lines of knee pads) to prevent too much heat loss through evaporation.

Shall try it out today, and quite looking forward to getting my old winter suit back as well as it will mean I should always have a dry wetsuit to get into this winter!

Indeed it will be, I couldn't imagine winter in Borth without the Gimp!!
