Looking forward to Sept 8th & 9th

We can't complain about the wind that we've had this weekend... 25 knots and sunny all day on Saturday and then even more today, topping at a solid 40 knots, gain with wall to wall sunshine.

Looking ahead, Thurs and Fri look interesting at the moment with a decent SW forecast for Thursday, veering NW and increasing on Friday.... Question is, will it actually materialise as the week moves on... Autumn is on its way so we should start getting a few decent low pressure systems come through.

Hope it arrives - but 40 kts was a bit strong this morning.

I've taken next Thursday & Friday off work and I don't intend to do any gardening...

The forecast has changed already... Now looks as though there will be no wind on Thurs, a little bit on Friday and enough on Saturday (NW).

Who knows what will ACTUALLY happen!

Just been having a good look through the data from various charts and it seems as though things are a little difficult to predict at the moment. The models keep changing and the forecasts are having trouble keeping up. I think we are going to have to wait until Thursday to get more of an idea of what will be likely to happen over the weekend, and even then things may be a little vague.

Think the only way to get the forcast is to stick your head out the window on the day in question

Well, things look pretty uninspiring as far as the wind goes now..... Grrrrrr.

At least I've had a fun sail this afternoon, 12-15 knots at tywyn, and head high swell. X fingas for tommorow.
