Well, like the title says...i'd like some suggestions to a band name for my rock band that i'm in. I play guitar and sing, there is another guitarist, a bass player and a drummer.
We're really struggling for a good, suitable rock band name.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Our kind of music is like that of "feeder".

Thanks for the reply. LOL! There's some good ideas and some bad ones...i mean where did "hairy white boys" come from?

It's funny because we were thinking of something with the word "slick" in it. That's quite good...maybe we could mix some of the words, like SlickSonar or SlickTripper or Slick Razor?

Narcosiz is good as well, i think Narcostic sounds better though, for some strange reason.

I almost got a band to take up the name "artificial lard" Thats what I call the Flora type spreads or fake butters.

Dough, still doesn't beat Hairy White Boys.

I had this problem with the band that I was in.....

Sooo many arguments about what the band should have been called,

We started with "Bovine drapes"... but realised that it wasn't a commercial name... then it progressed to ;
"MAN HOOF"... and then briefy moved to "Killa Chinchilla"

...then our musical differences conflicted (ie we couldn't play in tune with each other) and we ended up fighting!

oh well....

I'm thinking of starting a new band and calling it;

"Return of the killa bikini vampire girls"... auditions start next week..

Hairy White Boys is the best because its the most talked about. Its instantly rememberable. Also if you are serious about the band then you need to make sure the name is not used.

Hairy White Boys is good, but how about "Chopper"?

btw - I've heard that Raleigh plan to start selling them again, but without the ball crusher gear change!

I quite like chopper....and i think the word artificial could go well with something.

I just can't see why hairy white boys is the most popular, what are you guys on?

I hate to say it but wouldn't it seem a little racist if we performed in front of another colour apart from white, and them say; "so whats your band called?" we would reply; "the hairy white boys"....would that be wrong?

Well it's not racist because it's not denouncing any minority. Also you don't have to be hairy either though you could wear chest wigs on stage that would be amusing. Oh go on - I want to see the photos lol.

That generator thing is pretty good...and stupid! LOL! It keeps repeating the words candle, hamster, bag, wall and woman.

My band might include the word "Metaphyzical".

But we need some more suggestions, preferably not from the generator (unless its good).

We'd like a serious band name though, not something silly like "Four Feisty Mothers" !

hi Neil I'll be there Friday afternoon and staying until Monday in that camp site. Gonna test out my new flying abilities (thats trying to keep the kite in the air not me in the air hehe). Hopefully the weather will be ok for some kitesurfing (lol as if I'm actually gonna be able to do it). Apparently I need between 10 - 15 knots. Are you down this weekend?
