Briony

I think most people on the site aren't too interested in the sizes of the dunes etc but the University website does have some information they use for fieldtrips (and I'm sure I'm seen other stuff somewhere which I'll post links for if I find them).

Have a look at the link below. If you want the stuff only available to UWA students let me know as I can get hold of it.

Good luck

There was a fresh crips unbroken dune at easter til some F-O-N animals put foot prints all over it

I wonder who that could have been!!!

It was a pretty cool dune though, and is still there, but I haven't seen it looking as good as it did that day.

Hi Briony,

Sorry can't help with the size but they are pretty cool aren't they, I could give you an estimate of some of them being about 30ft when I was in Aber in 1993 but I could be completely wrong, if I come across any info on my travels I will let you know. Good look with your project!

Hey Justana speak for yourself the size of sand dunes are very important to me

The higher they are the more air you can get when you jump off the top (oops Bad excuse it wasn't me honest I have an Alibi I was 200 miles away at the time!)

I like the sound they make when it rains though no really I'm serious maybe a bit wierd but totally serious
