Thought i would say hi .... well ..... why not .... seems like a nice place on the net .... can't claim much experience of Wales other than canoeing trips and Youth Hostels around Llandudno and thats going back further than I should .... new to windsurfing and trying to improve at Datchett reservoir. I do get up to North Norfolk were Granny and Grandpa are willing childminders and sea looks promising.
Hi Lovejoy,
Glad to have you onboard here, and it doesn't matter that you have no connections with Wales. The site did start out as a personal site
of mine and as I live in Wales it was obviously biased towards this area, but since the addition of the Forums and Personal Diaries
it's been opened up to anybody and I'm actually trying to make the site feel a litle less Wales-centric...
So feel free to post things about Datchett, Norfolk or anywhere else that you may find yourself. And keep us up to date with your
windsurfing progress.
Al.
Hi Lovejoy.
As Justal has just said, this place can be a website for anyone. For example i body board and i live in Nottingham, that's nowhere near
the coast with good waves, let alone a coast at all!
Don't be affraid to post!
L8er Airborne.
Don't forget to do your Force-of-Nature questionnaire, even if you only fill in a couple of questions it's a good way to monitor your
progress.
And we will all look forward to reading your diaries.
Hey Lovejoy,
Thought I'd say Hi since I'm a newbie too (to the site anyway). Llandudno is cool I remember climbing the Great Orm (not as strenuous
as it sounds but lovely little chapel at the top. Not quite as cool as Aber though
Never been to Norfolk but hear its a nice place, good to hear your getting into windsurfing its great fun. I started on lakes and
reservoirs, bit more difficult on the sea till you learn to water start but its worth persevering great fun, keep up the posts!
I remeber a school trip to Llandudno.......wow that was a few years ago
