hi my names craig, 18 ...and im from newcastle
Hey Craig, hope you've given due consideration to the implications of what your about embark upon. This s#!t is more adictive than
crack man!!
Spend all your $$ on kit, neglect your girlfriend, family, job......still interested? check out the BKSA website and get some propper
tuition, It'll keep you out of hospital!
Welcome geeza and good luck
Do you mean surfing or as Jon has presumed kite-surfing? The surf up by you can be pretty good, especially at this time of year, but
you'll soon be needing a pretty good wetsuit for surfing in the North Sea.
There will be lots of people up there surfing too, so you should soon find some people who will take you under their wing and show you
the ropes... Although it has to be said that in general surfers aren't quite as helpful as windsurfers or kitesurfers.

Not presuming Al as i'd read craigs first post as well, just tryin to steer ye man in the right direction. That said, each to their
own! I dont know about you but the longer you spend standing on ye board, the more fun you'll be avin.
That given, I think most boarders will agree with the comments that I posted, don't matter if you surf, windsurf, kitesurf or
snowboard...nough said
He didn't mention kitesurfing in the first post either, just surfing!
But it will take over your life... Although if you live by the sea surfing is a pretty cheap sport, unlike kitesurfing or
windsurfing... Best bet is to do all three and have loads of toys!
