Hi thought it was time I joined this forum as I seem to be spending more and more time at Dovey.
Been landboarding for a year, buggying for around 6 months and finally got out onto the water late June thanks to Shem.
Dovey has been my prefered site for the past year but have used Ainsdale to the Ho and most places in between.
The name I gained due to the results of to much beer.

Maybe you could spend the next few days drinking even more beer than usual and then stand on the beach at Aberdovey facing North so
that we could get some wind on the beach over here!!!

Well the only real wind around Sunday was that produced by the local beer, apart from a short blast around 3pm.
It got pretty windy over here on Sunday.... about 18 knots, but as you say it only lasted for a couple of hours... Still, plenty of
time for a kitesurf session in the sunshine.

We were all over at Borth with Shem as it seemed to be more NE. We then saw a 15m Strike out around 3pm and dashed over to Dovey to catch the last of it.
Must have been me you saw with the 15m Strike then... Why didn't you just go out at Borth if thats where you were??

The wind was be chopped up by the headland to much round by the carpark and at my current level of ability I'm not happy to venture
into open sea yet.
Oh I was the guy with the black and green slingy.
