calling any decent snowboarders of the borth massif! am thinking that it might be a good time to organise a trip to the french alps say teign, as thats my fav place and if the wind is up we can go snowkiting on the glacier or down on the lake.
thinking of from the 10th feb onwards, now we can go either of 2 ways ; 1. package 2. fly out on our own steam and get in at the chalet chardon in breviere, this is NOT 5 star but a good boarders place,clean and decent wholesome food and very cheap! so 2 weeks is real easy. peeps go there for the season, run by a cool couple mark and hi x partner; mark is into paragliding ,snowboarding kitesurfing and snowkiting. it has its own bar upstairs and the trendy boarders bar downstairs with t'nternet,smoke and loud noise.
give me your ideas.

Sounds good Neil, I could be interested. Not sure I could do two weeks though, I usually go for one and need to come home for recovery after that.

Chalet sounds interesting, I've really got to do a budget trip this year. Any idea on potential prices?

had a reply from chalet chardon in teign and they are wanting £250 per person for that half term week; sharing 4 to room and not ensuite, shared bath and lav. far tooooooooo greedy for what is there. last time i was there it was £120 and i would pay up to 150 BUT NO MORE! back to looking for package deals i think!

been looking on the net and lots of hols around the £500 ish area which is not bad. going to look into salsberg flights and then on to obertauern for snow kiting, will keep any one posted who is interested.

i would love to go but the words decent dont really apply to me , is something iv always wanted to try though

I'm well up for a snowboard trip Neil. I've got 17/2-26/2/06 booked off work and I'm definately going between those dates. The more the merrier as far as i'm concerned.

If your board skills arn't up to much, give Neil or Graham a shout, I can vouch for their instructional capabilities. Neil had me ripping from the top of the snowdome in two lessons so get onto him now..!

hi Jon can only go from the 10th feb onwards; have found 70 each way thompson from coventry to salsberg , out on monday 13th and back on monday. poss to obertauern austria ;B&B. snow kiting and piste if no wind. looking for peeps

Can't get that week off neil as my partner at work already has it booked.

I also have the last two weeks in March off and looking at the deals, there are much better offers on those dates. Let me know dude
