Eternal mast foot dilemma- Advice please
SinistaPenguin - 24-9-2003 at 09:54

A wierd one - My Dad has made a succession of poor choices as regards windsurf boards. He has bought 3 second hand boards and can't get any mast feet for any of them any more. As a result he's had to give up until he can get the money together for another board.

Does anyone know of anywhere that sells old mast feet?

I'll try and find out what his most recent board is and post it here. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. He's 59 yrs old and I think it's a shame that he's had to stop.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I'd give Boardwise (Cannock) at try. Their back yard is rammed with old boards/bits of boards.

try www.boardwise.co.uk

Cheers

Nick

Really sorry to hear that your dad can't get spare parts.

Post the details of the board(s)

I'm sure that there are loads of old bits of kit lying around, Nick is right Boardwise have a yard full of old stuff, and I reckon there are others members of this forum who can help.

I have a couple of old fashioned mast feet that I would be glad to donate if they are the right size/style.

Can you post a picture or more details?

Sean - Thanks, I'll have to check with my Dad at the weekend, I'll post here on Monday with some details.

It would be awesome if they match!!

Thanks

Apparently the board is an OLD F2 Lightning (about 10 yrs old).

I don't know if this helps.

Mine is from a 15yr+ olod Alto, but apparently I was a fairly common fitting in its day and the local shop sold me some spares about 5 years ago.
