Hi. Looking for some help.
I'm doing an easy to read 'speedsailing location guide' to help make going speedsailing easier and get all the info in one place.
There's loads of potential spots I have no idea about though. Can anyone on here help and add some info/pictures/etc?
I've pretty much got West Kirby nailed, so info along those lines needed.
email is stevethorp(@)hotmail(dot)com
ta muchly, any help appreciated.

Hi Steve,
here's some info for Ynyslas.. You have it as being good in a Westerly, which it isn't as it is then protected by the dunes. For speed
sailing the best directions are E-NE, and it is usually best early morning in the spring when we get the local katabatic wind howling
down through the valley. Mid to low tide is best although on Springs it gets too shallow.
More info on the katabatic wind (know as Ivor) here:
Ivor, the katabatic wind of Borth &
Ynyslas.
If you look at the Google Earth image you have, then we actually sail in the deep channel that runs NW-SE right in the middle of the
picture. close to the sandbank which gives nice smooth water at low tides.
You can park on the sands.
Otherwise it looks good... And 'yes' you can use my photo!

Hi Al. Thanks very much for the info. All added.
