Hi all, I'm from oz and will be in the uk next May staying at Woolacombe. Is there any where I can hire gear that is close and or are there any kite instructers around there and maybe I'll just bring a kite to make things easier. Cheers Bob

I doubt that there are any places to hire windsurfing kit in the Woolacombe area.. In fact there are very few (if any) windsurf hire centres in the UK.

I'm sure there will be a kite-instructor around there though.The kiters on here may help out there with recommendations.

There is plenty of surfing to be had in this area of the world too, so a surfboard may be a useful tool... You could always pick a cheap 2nd hand one to use for the month that you are here as there are plenty of surf shops in Woolacombe itself and also in nearby Croyde and Braunton.
