Just to let anyone know that the severn looks like it will be flooded again this weekend. There is some great windsurfing to be had on
the kempsey hams in a SW wind. Constant wind and waist to chest deep water depending on height of flood, also quite safe as you cannot
actually accidently sail into the river?

is it pretty open? and do you reckon you could kitesurf there?
cheers for any reply
Yeah it is very open but there is not much bank to launch your kite off, from the waters edge to the hedge is about 20m, and it is
about 60m wide.
I get a bit of grief off the locals sometimes so I think a jetski would be out of the question, plus the only access from the road is
over a style as the gate is locked.
Will hopefully be down there saturday if its blowing!
planing a trip saturday as well just kites no ski, we may go furhter down to the M5/M50 junction and kite there, if we can get access.
see you sat
for once please can it rain hard for the next few days
I was thinking about going to Rhossi on Sunday for a long overdue fix, BUT how do I get to this place and what time are you planning on being there?
Dude.
Will be round your gaff 9.30am to load up and shoot.
Present forecast is SW 17mph. Gonna give it loads.
Hey - how do I get there from Worcester?? It's looking windy outside...
Is anyone going again this weekend? going past on sat and could be up for a cheeky sesh! not to keen by myself tho...
I was wondering about that, is the water level still high enough?
I see the river level at Worcester has gone down a fair bit.
I went down to Kempsey today and the water levels are going up again. I should be down there around midday. Parking there is at the end of a narrow lane so its best to reverse down and keep over so people can walk pass with their kit.
