Windsurfing spot in south Wales?
cathbristol - 23-5-2006 at 15:58

Hi!

We are planning to go windsurfing in South Wales this WE.
Ideally a not too wavy spot, fairly safe with a sandy beach and a static caravan to recover form the session.
Any advice or tip?
thanks

Have you taken a look through the Beach Guide? How far into South Wales are you intending to travel? It could be worth heading to the Gower, somewhere like Oxwich Bay may fit the bill perfectly.

I have indeed have a good look at the beaches.
It is truly great to have listed all the beaches like that...It would be even more fantastic to be able to say I want all southern wlaes beaches where windsurfing is 3 stars....
Do you think that might be possible?

PS: have had a look at your blog, looks great!

Porthcawl may be worth a shout
more static vans than you,ll ever see in your life
reasonable forcast for weekend
Newton bay would provide sheltered conditions

Anything is possible.... I'll have a think about it and see if I have time to implement something along those lines one day, it wouldn't actually be that difficult to do but I won't have time to do it for quite a while.
