Where in East Yorkshire?

Hi all. I'm new so go easy on me.
I'm interested in learning to windsurf. Anyone know anywhere in the Hull or Doncaster areas who does lessons.
Or am I better going to the coast and trying to find somewhere.

I don't think we have many members up that way but a good place to do search would be RYA
There should be somewhere on there to get you out on the water

Hatfield Marina used to do that sort of thing - I know they close for the winter months though. Give them a ring.
If not you can do RYA in Lincoln (Ruston Sailing Club - name might have changed)

Thanks for the help. I've been to Hatfield Marina a couple of times but never seems open. Will try and find a phone number fro them.

They have a rescue boat and used to be very cheap. I think you would soon get very bored there once you pick up the basics however.

The one in Lincoln is now called Hykeham Sailing Club. There are a bunch of keen windsurfers who sail there, and on the coast when the wind is right.

Many of the guys at Robin Hood Watersports (Leeds - 01924 444888) windsurf - they are very helpful and would know about places north of doncaster (although they usually sail at Rhosneigr Anglesey, or on the East coast).
