I need to replace my NP 5.2 Jet which I 've just sold. I'm looking for a wave sail for my 75L Quattro wave board, that will fit into
the rest of my quiver:
4.5 Gun Top Wave
6.0 Tushingham Hekler
7.4 NP Supersonic
I'm thinking 5.2 is about as big as I can go on the Quattro. Also a 5.2 fits in well with my other sails. I worried about getting a
sail that is too powerful and will overpower the Quattro. However I don't want a completely gut-less sail.
At the moment I'm looking at these sails:
5.2 2003 Ezzy Wave, "Very Good Condition", for £185.
5.2 2003 Sailworks Revolution, "Excellent Condition", for £199.
Any 5.2 Tush Storm/Vulcan/Rock that is for sale.
Opinions on these please, or on something else? Any advice much appreciated. Cheers, Harry
Harry - I'm sure they'd all do the job fine, but check out the private ads at www.boards.co.uk .... there's a 2003 Tush Rock 5.2m for
£140. Sounds like a good buy if it's in the condition he says it is.
Cheers
Nick
Yeah I've just seen that advert as well. Sounds tempting. Just wondering though aren't Tush Rocks very flat sails, not very powerful? Would it overlap too much with my Gun 4.5?
Reading last years test of the 5.7 Rock, Boards say you should consider it more like a 5.4. So is the 5.2 Rock more like a 5.0?
It's between the Sailworks Revolution (£199) or the Tush Rock (£140) at the moment. Arrgghh can't decide!!!
from what i've seen of tush sails, there all flat, personally I prefer something a bit fuller.
