Well what do you think blackrock sat, 18mph ssw.....
I'm sure it will be windy... I'm supposed to be organising a 'Power Ranger's Training Camp' for Morgan's birthday so it is bound to be
windy.
Al.
Defo thinking about it as Dfyi is dead. Anyone going up Friday night?
mmmmmmmmmm
very tempted as its been a while - Met showing 16mph for Sat at the mo.....
should really stay in and polish my snowboard, as I'm off to the Alps on Sunday (where it is -10C and very, VERY snowy)
Think I'll see what the 4cast looks like tomorrow, and maybe go up Fri nite for a cheeky session Sat AM
Spooker, where do you park up over night at Black rock?
same question as above thanks
On the beach - if there is any!
High tide 10ish Fri nite, if I go down it will be off the first exit and over to the left a bit, towards the estuary.
If the tide's too high - in the pub for a swift one - until it recedes. then on the beach - see above
improving all the time 20mph now on xc weather.......see you on the beach all being well, and if i can still walk after todays bike ride
So Col, after you've peeled that hot, sticky lycra off your ample cheeks later today - r you going to be packing your van with 2009 Ozones......
Off to Pas de la Casa for me on Sunday for a week. Still a decent amount of snow but nothing new for a week. But should be good. Got the board all polished up and the edges redone after Dan and Tony's play time in the snow the other weekend.
Excellent move Mr Loxley - I'm leaving LGW at 13:25 on Sunday for a week in sunny, snowy Tignes
Its got a 4' cover at the bottom, 6' at the top and its snowing NOW! Fingers crossed for a blinder of a week
just got back from a week at aberdovey outward bound and the tides are VERY VERY HIGH doubt if you will even get on the beach best park on road.
Top nautical tip from cap'n Bluebeard
Don't want to get caught by the tide - us old uns need to keep our powder dry eh cap'n
Maybe have to heave to on the road by the old toilets
Parked up on the beach by the entrance with a couple of blue T4's. Seems ok so far
No wind at Black rock today, but Hells Mouth was working.
Dunk
Dunk, I left B rock about an hour after you and headed to Aberdaron and was only blowing around 10 knots, so not worth the trip further west. Came back to B rock and my son did some static flying. Oh well, woke to a nice morning on the beach today.
me and spooks saw the forecast and decided not to go, god choice looking at the weather stats....ohh well fingers crossed for next sat..enduro bike race on sunday
it's the curse of my new board. Since I have had it the wind has been pants! Well unless I could surf in the week but Shem already has the monopoly on that one!
You should of come to Hells Mouth Mark, there were 3 of us out. There was enough to ride and go upwind on my 12. A nice Spring type day too.
Yep it was a nice day. I did noy have your number mate so took a flyer you had gone further west. Oh well this weekend has some potential although it looks mighty cold. May be worth a day trip though.
